The story
The Opel Speedster was introduced in 2000. It holds a unique place in Opel history as the only Opel with a fibreglass and aluminium chassis and a mid-mounted engine. It was developed together with Lotus and shares a great deal with the Lotus Elise.
Of the 7,033 cars built, only 187 were sold in the Netherlands. This car, number 3997, was supplied new in the Netherlands. Its very low mileage and rarity make this Speedster a sought-after collector's item.
