The story
The Renault Mégane succeeded the Renault 19. The Mégane Coupé arrived in 1996 and the Cabriolet based on it in 1997. This car was delivered in August 1998 to its first owner in Germany and brought to the Netherlands in 2025 by Heurkens Classics.
The 2.0 litre 8V is the second most powerful engine. With the supplied Roadbox (extra storage) the four-seat cabriolet turns into a roadster. To me the pre-facelift Mégane, with the prettier nose, in the striking Jaune Tournesol is the most interesting for a collector.
